About the project
MatchLab builds a card game in which any two cards share exactly one picture – the same idea you know from Dobble or Spot It! The cards are made from your own photos, children’s drawings, emoji, coloured shapes or the letters a child is currently learning.
The app works out the maths behind the game (arranging the symbols along a projective plane), so you only pick the deck size – from 7 cards for the youngest to 91 for experts. Photo backgrounds are removed by AI right in the browser, so the pictures never leave your device. The finished deck downloads as a printable PDF or SVG, or can be played straight in the browser.
